NCL Conejo Valley Helps Prepare My Stuff Bags for Kids in Need
At My Stuff Bags Foundation, we rely on the support of incredible volunteers to help us prepare the items that go into every My Stuff Bag. Recently, National Charity League (NCL) of Conejo Valley stepped in to help with some of the crucial prep activities that ensure our Bags are filled with exactly what children in crisis need.
The team worked hard on a variety of tasks, including creating sock packs filled with pairs of Bomba’s socks, organizing craft sets like Bandaloom kits for creative outlets, and assembling colored pencil packs for kids to use in their journals or for school. These activities are an essential part of the process because they allow us to ensure each My Stuff Bag is thoughtfully filled with age-appropriate items that provide not just physical necessities, but also emotional comfort during difficult times.
Before we can begin packing the actual My Stuff Bags, these preparatory steps are crucial for making sure the children who receive them have everything they need. We are so grateful for the NCL Conejo Valley volunteers who dedicated their time to making sure these activities were completed with care and attention.
Thanks to volunteers like these, we’re able to continue our mission of providing comfort, hope, and dignity to kids across the country who need it the most.
