Uniting for Good: Partnerships Helping Us Change the Lives of Vulnerable Children
In a world often overwhelmed by hardship and heartbreaking headlines, we at the My Stuff Bags Foundation are constantly reminded of the goodness that still exists—thanks to the incredible organizations we work with. These partnerships allow us to continue bringing hope and comfort to 20,000 abused, homeless, and neglected children across the country each year.
We’re thrilled to share a new partnership with Delivering Good, Inc., an organization that connects retailers and manufacturers with surplus new merchandise to nonprofits serving those in need. Through this collaboration, we’ve received generous donations including hundreds of Squishmallow stuffed animals and “Bed in a Bag” bedding sets—wonderful additions to the My Stuff Bags that bring joy and comfort to children in crisis.
Another ongoing partnership that continues to warm our hearts (and the children’s) is with My Very Own Blanket, a group of devoted volunteer blanket makers. Their beautiful, handmade blankets offer not just physical warmth but also emotional comfort to the vulnerable, hurting children we serve.
We are so fortunate to have a long-standing partnership with the nonprofit organization, The Happy Factory Inc. This organization runs on the dedication of volunteer Toy Makers, who hand-craft wooden toy cars using scrap wood donated by a local cabinet maker.
While all of these organizations are very different, they share a common thread: a desire to do good for those in need. Through collaborations like these, we’re able to fill every My Stuff Bag with approximately $100 worth of brand-new essentials, helping restore dignity and hope to 20,000 vulnerable children every year.
